Indian Embassy in Tashkent celebrates Republic Day

Indian Embassy in Tashkent celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with an artistic touch.

India's envoy to Uzbekistan, Manish Prabhat, hoisted the National flag and read out the message of the Indian President Ram Nath Kovind.

Uzbek friends of India joined the ceremonial celebrations along with the embassy staff and the diaspora members.

As a part of the Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsava, the Indian embassy and the Lal Bahadur Shastri Center for Indian Culture collaborated for various cultural performances.

India sent the artistic band from New Delhi's highly esteemed Indian Council for Cultural Relations.

Moreover, the program proceeded with the talks and presentations followed by a yoga session to promote cultural values.

Later, an online summit between India and Uzbekistan and all Central Asian countries took place.

The countries' leaders attended the virtual meeting to discuss trade and connectivity in Asia.
