Indian Air Force Chief Visits Sri Lanka to Strengthen Ties

Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of Air Staff, Indian Air Force, arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka on May 1  for a four-day official visit. 

The visit was made at the invitation of Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force. 

Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, Chief of Staff, Sri Lanka Air Force, and Deputy High Commissioner of India, Vinod K. Jacob, received him on arrival.

In 2021, a twenty-two Aircraft contingent of the Indian Air Force participated in the 70th Anniversary celebrations of Sri Lanka Air Force.
